Swedish Massage

increases circulation, stretches ligaments and tendons, and
stimulates the skin and nervous system while reducing
emotional and physical stress.
Deep Tissue/Myofascial
Release
Trauma and overuse can cause
tissue to develop adhesions and harden, which decreases
mobility and flexibility. Myofascial release techniques are
used to promote a more fluid state for the fascia. Generally
slower than Swedish massage, this technique goes deeper into
the muscle and connective tissue to release chronic tension.
Neuromuscular
Therapy/Trigger Point Therapy
Focusing on specific problems
and symptoms, these techniques are Ideal for treating tennis
elbow, frozen shoulder, sciatica, carpal tunnel, and other
conditions by utilizing deep tissue and trigger point
release techniques. A trigger point is a hypersensitive area
in soft tissue that, when compressed, is locally tender and
refers pain.
Trager
Method/Sensory Repatterning
A form of gentle movement
education used to remind the body of how it should work,
gentle rocking motions will release tension and give the
body a feeling of freedom. This gentle and nurturing
approach repatterns the body and releases injuries from
sports, stress, headaches, depression, multiple sclerosis,
cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s, fibromyalgia, as well as every
day aches and pains.

Massage
